Crawfordsville, Ind – April 1 – Arthur A. McCain, editor of the Chariot, official publication of the Ben-Hur Life Association, died at his home here late today.  He was 65 years old.  Mr. McCain was the second high official of the Ben-Hur Association to die within 3 days, Dr. JF Davidson, supreme medical examiner, having succumbed Friday.  Mr. McCain formerly was editor of the Crawfordsville Journal and also served as Crawfordsville postmaster.  He was a graduate of Wabash College, class of 1889.  He held membership in Beta Theta Pi, social fraternity and Phi Beta Kappa, honorary scholastic fraternity. Survivors are the widow, Mrs. Ethel McCain; a daughter, Mrs. CD Davey of San Francisco, Cal; a son, Robert B. McCain of Crawfordsville and a brother, Fred T. McCain of Indianapolis.  Funeral services will be at the home Tuesday afternoon. -  kbz
